Due to the expense of it, Hinano and I are no longer going to Otakon. We are going to AnimeNEXT instead, because the total price for each of us will be about what it would cost for just a single night at the hotel in Baltimore for Otakon. This, along with a recent chapter of the Naruto manga, gave her another nefarious idea: instead of doing an Inukami or Zero no Tsukaima cosplay (and now that Zero no Tsukaima was licensed, I can no longer say “that nobody at Otakon will have heard of”), how about going as Karin and Sasuke? This gave me a different idea: if I’m going to be a chest-baring yaoi icon, why not be the yaranaika guy from Kusomiso Technique instead? So even though she’ll force me to be Sasuke anyway, I pose the question to you, dear readers: Sas-uke or the “ii otoko” in “Uho! Ii otoko!”?
