Well~ With SOY over and having the honor to be a judge for the event, it was fun. Congrats to Sister Kaya for winning the singles category and to the Trinity Blood cosplayers for winning the group category. Sadly, I’m busy with the event that I can’t really take pictures and do a coverage. Do check out moeside if you’re interested. Speaking of cosplay, I might be doing one at Cosfest 2008.
That side, CDS also had great sales that day. Thanks for supporting and buying the nice Nanoha and Fate prints. Just to let you guys in abit, CDS will have their official website up and running soon. Do check out the blog by tragic comedy and Mantoro for now. Will also be doing an interview with some or the artist soon, so do check back if you’re a fan of us.
I’ve was cleaning up my room not too long ago and found my sketchbook and started drawing some stuff. Managed to sneak into a seminar by spoonbard (Paul Duffield) at The Art House and it was great. Just hoping that we could keep in contact. I’ve learnt alot of things, from techincal skills on how to design a character, creating backgrounds, planning a story, storyboarding and other stuff. It actually helped me spark up some ideas during the seminar and I’ve decided to start polishing up my skills in terms of drawing and writing again. That all aside, I guess I’ll just throw up some random stuff I did (though its all taken by my phone).
Firstly, 2 drawings that I spent alot of time on to draw and countless editing. It’s still not perfect but what the heck.
And a random character design sketch that I did during the seminar. I suck at drawing hands and legs, so I made her a ghost. I did plan a character background and all for her and I might start to pen it down soon.
I’m also graduating soon, so I should have more time to do other stuff now, such as writing. Or maybe I should get a job. =/
