Finally, seems like Kajishima Masaki and his staff are planning to formally announce the next series in the 「Tenchi Muyo!」 franchise sometime this year. A teaser website was launched earlier this week by AIC for the project entitled, 「Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari」 (Saint Knight Tale in an Alternate World). Seikishi Monogatari is another anime series being planned by Masaki Kajishima, announced in the same interview where he revealed plans for the third Tenchi Muyo! OVA series and the GXP series. It will only be loosely connected to the Tenchi series in that the main character is Tenchi’s half-brother, a character that Mr. Kajishima reveals he has had in mind since the beginning of the Tenchi Muyo! OVAs. Seikishi will be a sci-fi series set in an alternate universe where humans pilot giant robots powered by “magic power reactors”.
Animation production may be from AIC Spirits, (”GA-REI -zero-,” “Sasami: Magical Girl Club,” “Girls Bravo”).
